A man in his 60s has been taken to hospital after a lorry crashed into a railway bridge – sending falling debris into his path.
According to a spokesman for the ambulance service the casualty was driving a van behind the lorry on the A37 near East Lydford in Somerset when a collision took place.
Fragments from the lorry are believed to have flown off into the van when it collided with the bridge, causing the van driver to suffer injuries.
