A section of the M5 has been closed because of the icy conditions this morning (December 27).The Avonmouth Bridge on the M5 has been shut in both directions because of the poor weather conditions and it is not known at this stage when it will be reopened.Avon and Somerset Constabulary has confirmed the road will stay closed until gritters can get there to treat the ice.
