The M5 has reopened in both directions following an earlier closure due to ice on the road.
The Avonmouth Bridge was closed earlier this morning (December 27) because of the icy conditions.
Avon and Somerset Constabularly had said the road would remain closed until the gritters can get there and treat the road.
It is understood that both directions have now been reopened and traffic is expected to clear.
