A motorist was taken to hospital with head injuries after his car crashed into a telegraph pole and a wall near Glastonbury on Sunday evening (January 8).Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service sent a crew from Glastonbury to the crash on the B3151 in Meare just after 7pm.Paramedics were already at the site of the crash near the junction of Ashcott Road and St Mary's Road.Smoke was coming from the bonnet of the crashed car when the fire crew arrived and they worked to make the vehicle safe....
