A two-vehicle crash between Junctions 19 and 20 closed two lanes of the M5 today, (Thursday, January 12) and caused major delays.
One of the cars crashed into the central reservation as a result of the collision which happened just after 2pm.
A police spokesman said there was debris on the road and an ambulance had also attended to deal with what are described as "minor injuries".
Reports on Twitter show traffic at a complete standstill at the worst of the disruption.
