A six figure sum paid by a national supermarket chain to Somerset County Council Highways to improve the road and pavements near its new store has not been used.
Lidl paid £100,000 to Highways for improvements to the junction on Lysander Road, in Yeovil, and it also included upgrades to Toucan crossings, footpaths, cycleways and a new bus stop.
The store was approved in March 2016 and it opened in December 2016.
